A few days after starting the iko iko track, i had an idea for a bassline for Stevies classic track. Its one of my favourites ands so i thought it would be a good way of putting some of what ive learnt into practice, and in particular use the live bass and brass instruments.

Wasn't intended for putting up but 6 months later it got picked up by beta birmingham for their Champagne Socialism Release, so had a go at getting it road ready. Quite pleased with how it turned out but then decided to write a new one for the release instead which is the Ozomatli remix :) All the parts are played in live and i had a go at some basic diy mastering.
